Challenge
Name, brand and package a selection of premium wines for a fundraising collaboration between Whitehaven Wines and Legasea.
Solution
This project was initiated as a new way to raise funds for the causes Legasea fights for in protecting New Zealand fisheries.
For each bottle purchased, Legasea would receive a contribution.This idea of "contribution" was something I thought had great flexibility in relation to wines and developing a marketable concept for a label.
From that, the name "Kōparepare" was presented and accepted by all. Kōparepare translates as contribution.
By buying tthe wine you contribute to Legasea, you can also bring it to dinner with friends and share your contribution with them, talk about it over dinner and hopefully one they tasted it, they would buy some as well.
